Flying Officer Frederick John Parsons - Pilot

Flying Officer Parsons (Serial # J15503) was from 
LondonOntario and was k
illed 5 October 1943 at age 21.  

He is commemorated on Page 201 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.  CLICK HERE TO VIEW PAGE 

Frederick John Parsons was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on January 29th, 1922 to Veronica Mary Kennedy and Francis F. Parsons.  He was raised in London, Ontario.  He has three brothers Howard, Sidney (deceased), Lawrence and one sister Veronica (deceased).

F/O Parsons was killed when his Mustang aircraft (AP173) did not return from an intruder patrol over France.

This photo had the following inscription written on the back:
 “Left to Right Norm Morse – Paradise Annapolis Valley, Hodge and Me.  This is Montreal from the steps of the chalet on top of the mountain”
